Boca Raton, FL

The NHS Chapter at Saint John Paul II Academy completed a yearly service project that involves gathering the members of the Boca Raton community of Florida to help feed the poor. The Principal’s Patio

Mineral County High School
Hawthorne, NV

The Mineral County High School NHS chapter renovated the principal’s patio for their service project. The project demonstrated a commitment to global citizenship by showing how a small group of students can make a change in the school environment—aesthetically, environmentally, and academically. Through the project, members took a space filled with blight and created a safe space for all students. NHS members were proud of how they overcame obstacles and created collaboration to enhance a space for future students, the current students, and alumni.
