Engaging Youth in Service On Your Campus and in the Community – A Partnership Webinar with The Allstate Foundation

We know that service impacts communities, but how does it impact the young people who engage in service? Hear from Alex Quian, Head of Youth Empowerment at The Allstate Foundation, about new research the Foundation created with Gallup that explores how youth-led service builds career readiness, connection, and resilience. This program will dive into data and share practical guidance for how to support youth service on your campus and in your community.

Alex Quian

Alex Quian is the Head of Youth Empowerment at The Allstate Foundation, where he leads national strategy and grantmaking to empower youth ages 5–25 to serve and improve communities. This mission is personal to Alex; in summer 2019, he led an initiative to complete 30 different service projects in 30 days, which was a transformative experience for him. Following this, Alex founded his first nonprofit at 21, and wrote a book about his experiences, “Better Together: How 30 Days of Service Changed My Life” to share lessons and practical blueprints that help other young people get involved in service.
