  1. Dress for Success
The celebration begins today with students wearing professional or business attire to school to highlight the importance of confidence and presentation in leadership. This day sets the tone for the week by reminding students that leaders carry themselves with purpose and professionalism. Participants will receive mini muffins or breakfast bars.

  2. Team Player Tuesday
On Tuesday, students can wear jerseys or team apparel to represent the value of teamwork. This day emphasizes that effective leaders know how to collaborate, support others, and build strong, unified groups. Students who participate will enjoy chips or popcorn.

  3. Leadership Pride Day
On Wednesday, students can wear student council or NHS gear or take part in “Club Jeans” by pairing jeans with a club shirt. It is important to note that Club Jeans is for student council and NHS members in good standing. This day highlights the importance of taking pride in one’s organization and demonstrating leadership through active participation. Snacks for the day will include granola bars or fruit.

  4. Throwback Thursday
On Thursday, students will learn from the past by dressing in styles from the 1980s, 1990s, or early 2000s. This day encourages students to reflect on how past leaders and historical events shape the present and future. Participants will receive cookies or nostalgic treats.

  5. School Spirit Day
On Friday, students are encouraged to wear school colors or spirit gear to show pride in Liberty County High School. This day reinforces the idea that strong leaders support and uplift their community. Candy or celebratory treats will be provided.

Throughout the week, students who participate can visit my classroom or the NHS adviser’s classroom to receive their daily snacks. School announcements and social media will also highlight student participation, helping to encourage schoolwide involvement and positive behavior.

National Student Leadership Week is designed to promote leadership development, strengthen school unity, and increase student engagement in extracurricular activities. By participating, students will gain a deeper understanding of what it means to lead with confidence, collaboration, and pride. We look forward to an inspiring week where students are empowered to grow and truly lead the way.
