Need a fun way to parade around and promote school clubs, groups, teams, committees, or organizations, but don’t have the resources it takes to pull off a full-scale float down Main Street? Ask a local retailer to donate several carts to your school for a shopping cart parade fundraiser! Give students the chance to “vote” on their favorite decorated shopping cart by donating money or goods to parade participants in various categories. Best of all, you’ll likely get plenty of wacky, creative, and memorable photos to post online to help raise money for future events.
